Kathleen Almy
Kathleen Almy is a consultant for Almy Educational Consulting, where she helps colleges and high schools improve math initiatives, courses, and policies. Previously, Almy served as Illinois’s director for transitional math and led the statewide implementation of transitional math courses. Prior to her administrative work, Almy was a mathematics professor with 20 years of experience in high school and college classrooms. She earned a BS in mathematics education from Southern Illinois University and an MS in pure mathematics from Northern Illinois University. She is pursuing a doctorate in education with an emphasis on community college leadership.
