Federick Ngo
Federick Ngo is an assistant professor at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. His research examines how higher education policy affects college access and success, with a focus on community college students. He studies issues in postsecondary remediation, math education, financial aid, and ways to improve community college student outcomes. This work has been published in a number of scholarly journals, including Educational Researcher, Journal of Higher Education, Research in Higher Education, Educational Evaluation and Policy Analysis, The Review of Higher Education, and Teachers College Record. Ngo’s scholarship has been supported by the National Science Foundation and the Spencer Foundation, and he was an AERA dissertation fellow. Ngo was formerly a high school math teacher in Oakland, California.
