Donna Linderman
Donna Linderman is the associate vice chancellor for academic affairs at the City University of New York (CUNY) Office of Academic Affairs. Her portfolio includes a broad array of CUNY-wide programs designed to support the academic preparation and degree success of students. Her programs include Accelerated Study in Associate Programs (ASAP), a nationally recognized associate degree completion program currently serving 21,000 students across nine CUNY colleges; Accelerate, Complete, and Engage; CUNY Start/Math Start; CUNY Educate, Develop, Graduate, and Empower; CUNY Literacy and Language Programs; and the Fostering College Success Initiative. Linderman also oversees the Office of Research, Evaluation, and Program Support and the data management and analytics unit.
Linderman was previously the university dean for student success initiatives and the executive director of ASAP for the CUNY Office of Academic Affairs. She also served as university director of the CUNY Middle Grades Initiative/GEAR UP program and as an assistant professor of theater and education at Brooklyn College. Linderman has also taught at Lehman College.
She holds a BFA in drama from the University of Southern California and an MFA in theater from Brooklyn College and is pursuing a doctorate in higher education administration at Northeastern University.
