She has over a decade of experience in postsecondary education research and is skilled in strategic planning, project management, and data management. She is the project director for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mdrc.org\/project\/scaling-community-college-efforts-student-success-success#overview\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Scaling Up College Completion Efforts for Student Success (<span class=\"caps\">SUCCESS<\/span>), <\/a>which partners with colleges in several states to provide in-depth technical assistance to design, implement, and evaluate comprehensive student support programs that are cost-effective, sustainable, and scalable. Sommo also leads <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mdrc.org\/project\/Evaluating-Replications-of-CUNY-ASAP#overview\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">two evaluations<\/a>\u00a0related to the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.mdrc.org\/project\/evaluation-accelerated-study-associate-programs-asap-developmental-education-students#overview\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">City University of New York (<span class=\"caps\">CUNY<\/span>) Accelerated Study in Associate Programs (<span class=\"caps\">ASAP<\/span>):<\/a> a randomized controlled trial at Westchester Community College and a long-term follow-up study of the <span class=\"caps\">ASAP<\/span> Ohio demonstration project. Additionally, Sommo is managing an <span class=\"caps\">IES<\/span>-supported long-term follow-up study of the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.mdrc.org\/project\/new-mathways-project#overview\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Dana Center Math Pathways<\/a> project. She has extensive experience with school records and survey data and has managed data collection and data analysis activities on many projects.<\/p>\n<p><a
